watch out for your perspective on 277 and 284, but great job on your Alias and interior sketches. Like them a lot!

Hey, your Bugatti looks very nice, I like the way its facets give the car a radical sport spirit. The rear really has a Bugatti style ! By the way, I am searching a transportation design internship in San Francisco, but it’s very hard to find out. Especially because I’m far, I live France. Would you have some tips for helping me? Thanks in advance.

Hey Jon! How’s your life in Germany? Are you fluent with the language? I bet you are having so much fun out there.

Whoa. Been on here for a while, but had not seen your stuff yet. Sharp sharp! You are leaning toward a unique aesthetic with the Bugatti that I really like and aim for, but do not see much of... A kind of "floating elements" look. I started doing that in school, and still like it a lot. Keep it up! Cheers.

Thanks, Dave! Wait- you're the genius that did all those Model T sketches that I have compiled in my hard drive?! Those pieces have been an inspiration to me..
Don't forget about proportions! (for a miata- convey FR more in the sketches..)
Nice front end. Lamps are a bit too large for my taste, but i like the hood/ mouth area. good stuff.
Here's your walkaround, B- it's not quite presentation quality- more of an evaluation tool- and it's a bit quick.. But here is is, since you asked for it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36XRFMeIn7E
Brian- Thank you for your thoughts. I greatly appreciate the amount of detail you went into, as well as the completeness in description of your thought process. SO much more constructive than a simple "i like it.." ha. As far as your comments go, I completely agree. First- the rear quarter- I feel the silhouette and shape could have been more advanced, considering the more conservative nature compared to the front. Many have expressed this concern, and I feel it to be my next area of improvement. Furthermore, I agree with you that my taillamps are too small in relation to the rear. They simply became too small/ thin/ frail. Last year when I had the luck of interning at Design Center Potsdam, I spent 10 months refining ONE car proposal- with 10 hours a day not uncommon. In the end, I was still wanting to make small tweaks to details and surfaces to further advance the design. Further, I had professional modelers to help in this process; at times orchestrating a small team of 4 very skilled professionals, with the direction of 4 extremely experienced chiefs. Compare this scenario with this project (1 month) and you will begin to see the degree of my satisfaction with this project. Thanks again, Brian.
I like the profile- I think the side view is more promising than the graphics on the front/ rear. (a good thing considering graphical elements are easily changed- proportion and shape are not) My favorite aspect of this car? It reminds me of the 2000GT..
Good progression here. The profile looks great- definitely improved this proposal. Would be great to see the packaging work in 3d..
