The red car on my portfolio page is what I see as a true "American Car" designed from the roots of generations of kick ass hot rods muscle cars & just Good Looking Cars of the USA !!

Hey, Sting! I missed your comments on my wall. Congrats on the two builds! Please do post them in a "Checkup" format for now. We're revamping some of the "Build" section organization so we won't do it there for now. Cant' wait to see!

THX, back in those days the soft top was worked by that "S-Curve" bar located on the Outside of the top, and yes that is where the "Hearse" got the look from, it actually goes back before the Automobile to carriage building. The Next CK #4 will show you the Hard Top or "Coupe" version.

The Next CK # 3 will show the car with a top on it, which was the reason I did that one, to get a feel for the "soft top"...Then I will move on to doing more different & realistic styled images, now that I have a basic design figured out, I can determine the various looks & model styles for this.

I suppose that this is more of a sports car predecessor design than a Roadster or Phaethon style, but if you look at the precursor to Jaguar, which was the SS, you will see that indeed the "Low Slung" and Small Body height WAS part of cars from this era...Sports Cars. See the attached picture of the SS and look at the Video link, it's kinda funny, but it shows you the difference in Design. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVJeCgeeGJc

THX Nemo...I am going to keep on this one, it is a different style exercise & something I don't get a lot of opportunity to design, but personally I love cars from this era, as they really were the designs which defined the various types of models & brands for the Auto Industry & well we would not have "Hot Rods" without them !!!

I like the sweptback hint to the standard coupe body, it gives it just a touch of the future...cool.
