if possible i would like to know more about your direction. in my honest opinion, you may be going a bit to conceptual (that's not to say it looks bad, cuz it surely doesn't) for the comp. even with the most sophisticated of american coachbuilders of the time would not have been able to produce something like this, nor do i feel it fits the aesthetic. maybe late thirties as many manufacturers were going longer leaner and more fluid, but that came about after artisan methods of metal shaping were abandoned for more industrial means i.e. the metal hydraulic press which is still used today in modern manufacturing. in late twenties many of the upstart companies could not afford such large machines and "fresh technologies" don't get me wrong i love what your doing here, just would like to hear how you see this in your opinion fitting the late 20's early 30's

also @chavito since roads of that time were mostly undeveloped and either dirt or brick or even just stagecoach trails, cars of that time had to deal with alot of rough terrain so the ride height tended to be a bit higher and off road capability was a must in most vehicles

HOLY CRAP I THINK I FOUND MY FANTASY CHASSIS!!! going thru all the 30's stuff i have i recalled my 30 model a project which is still in progress. this is just a refresher of the directions i had in mind. as far as progress, i have secured a 2001 bmw 6 series (wrecked) of which i am stealing a TON of suspensions bits from. i have purchased 4x6 12 gauge tubing to assemble the frame, a miller light keg for my gas tank, tons of little nostalgic bits to dress it up with, a dash from a pontiac g6 that i plan on cutting up and making a fiberglass dash out of for a touch of modern in the cabin, at least 6 possible engines ranging from a honda LS Vtec (honda nerds know what that is) all the way up to a big block hemi. need to get some 2 in 14 gauge round tubing for parts of the chassis, tons of patch metal, grill (undecided on style yet), wheels (wanting to go big for effect'' front 20' rear deep lip and nice and wide all the way around) tons of hardware, wiring harness for said motor/trans and detial mechanical bits unforseen. long way to go but should be epic. IF IT WASNT FOR THE 30's HOT RODS WOULDNT EXIST!!!!

audi TT front i mentioned
Comment Type Sunbeam 19 hours ago:
as for the front i would propose a solid headlamp in the way of an Audi TT but recessed slightly to take away the "Camaro" look people mention, and make the bumper come up a tad in the nose tip. would do well to add visual interest to the front
