Sometimes community members nominate their favorite designs, sometimes designs are chosen from "The Wall", and sometimes the Local Motors team chooses the featured designer. The daily "Featured Design" is posted on the homepage (scroll down a bit and you will see it on the right side of the page), and on the Studio Home/Design Page in the top right corner.
